failure is not fatal;
it is the courage to continue that counts.”

“Ashley Burr: Athletic Therapist – Ashley is extremely professional and very knowledgeable when it comes to the rehabilitation of athletes and non-athletes.  She works with you, not on you, to create a therapy program that will get you back to better than normal.  She incorporates the latest techniques from myofascial cupping to neurofascial blading and shockwave to joint mobilization.  Ashley has a strong understanding of body mechanics and she knows how the body parts work individually and as a whole.   Ashley will leave you feeling better than new.  She has worked on my back, neck, and shoulders and has worked her magic to relieve my tension and stress and now I feel taller and straighter.  I have lived with lower back pain and shoulder pain for years but Ashley has given me a pain free life.  Her approach to fix the problem not put a band aid over it has eliminated the pain and this has increased my overall happiness and has given me my life and body back.  Her stretching regime and precise muscle work has given me better control and feel over my body.  I can now flex and move the small muscles of my back.  She has now been working on my diaphragm and abdominal muscles to increase my breathing efficiency and help prevent diastasis in my abdomen.  This has increased my posture and has other positive benefits such as allowing me to work-out more effectively and sleep better.  Ashley takes a whole body approach to fix problem areas and to help prevent further problems from arising as she gets to the root of the issue.  Her program also incorporates strengthening and stretching to help keep joints and muscles moving effectively.  As a result of Ashley’s therapy I can honestly say my quality of life has improved tremendously as my body can function as it should, pain free. As a high school football coach, I refer my injured athletes to Ashley and she has them back on the field in no time.  She understands the human body and figures out a plan to relieve the problems and makes sure they do not return again.  My players swear by Ashley as she gets them fit to play a game they love and provides them with a program to help them stay injury free.”

“I've been seeing Ashley as needed for the last 5 years. I first came to her for a running/knee injury. She performed heat therapy, shock wave therapy, explained my injuries to me and how to prevent them and gave me strengthening exercises to help at home. I've returned to her many times over the years following attempts to do more than my body is capable of, because she is the person I trust to help me. She is constantly updating her education and modalities which is why she has my complete confidence. The staff I've met over the years here have been warm and helpful. I refer every person I can to Ashley, including members of my own family.”

“I have been seeing Ashley (known affectionately as AHOP) for various injuries throughout the last couple of years.  She has always made the symptoms subside and taught me many techniques to keep from re injuring as well as strengthening the injured areas when the conditions allow for it.  She also always reaches out to see how my injuries are coming along.  That level of concern and service is such a rarity nowadays.  AHOP is definitely my first call when I injure myself.  She is very professional and efficient.  She truly cares about her patients/clients.”

“I have been to Arora Family Chiropractic to see Ashley for a number of different injuries (the latest one being my low back). She does a great job of explaining what the injury is and is always able to help me get back to my busy life pain free.  I would highly recommend going to see Ashley Burr to anyone who has a pain that they would like to get rid of or an injury they are recovering from.”

“I have been seeing Ashley Burr for my neck and rotator cuff since Oct 2018. I was diagnosed with nervitis in my neck last August. Extremely painful. Was seeing a different physio therapist, but I didn’t get any relief prior to this. My mom highly recommended Ashley as she helped her. So I thought if she could help my mom. Why not see if she could help me. Ashley has helped me big time. I don’t have the pain I did prior to my injury. I’m able to sleep again through the night without waking up in pain. Ashley takes the time out to text and see how you are doing. She is very knowledgeable, efficient and professional.”

“Out of all the physiotherapists I have been to, Ashley demonstrated empathy above and beyond what I am used to receiving. Working through the problems I’ve been having she went out her way to assess and offer solutions in a manner that showed she deeply cared about my recovery. I am used to receiving treatment that seems like the bare minimum where the most common answer given is “I don't know” bookended with a photocopy of basic relevant exercises. In Ashley’s case she will take the time to figure out the cause to my problem, offer the best possible treatment and leave me with a program I can take home and help myself through recovery. If I have any questions about the treatment or I forget how to do an exercise she was happy to run it by me again. If I was unsure about a treatment she took the time to explain it and make sure I was comfortable with it. Best case scenario for her is your visiting less often because that means she is doing her job right! All in all a great experience and I’m happy to have her available when needed.”
