Meet Ashley Burr Certified Athletic Therapist
Ashley Burr BSC. (KIN) CAT (C)
Certified Athletic Therapist
Ashley’s interest in movement and human performance began early, shaped by her own injury history and extensive involvement in sport. Growing up, she participated in swimming, softball, gymnastics, and army cadets, which sparked a lasting curiosity about how the body moves, adapts, and recovers.
During her university training, Ashley completed practicum placements with several athletic programs, including the University of Winnipeg Women’s Basketball team, Kelvin High School Junior and Varsity Football, and the Winnipeg Warriors AAA U14 Hockey team. Following certification, she continued working with the Kelvin football program for over a decade.
Ashley has worked as an Athletic Therapist at Arora Family Chiropractic since 2014 and currently teaches continuing education courses for fitness and health professionals. Her educational focus includes minimalist footwear, pelvic and women’s health, myofascial cupping, and practical movement-based therapy. Ashley is passionate about helping practitioners better understand foundational movement principles to improve performance, resilience, and long-term health.
Outside of clinical and educational work, Ashley enjoys running, staying active, and coaching her son through his various sporting adventures.
